Blog Two: Yay Puzzles!
EDIT* hangman was made on a school computer, yet it seems to be blocked (of course). If you use wifi at home, the link SHOULD work.
This week, I figured that both you and I want to have some fun. What better way to have a wonderful time, than having time to relax and do some puzzles?

I hope you all enjoy these!!!
Crossword:
A link to hangman based on places in the book:
Key:
Delicious Foods (A farm that forces those who sign a contract to spend their lives working for below-minimum-wage pay)
Ovis Louisiana (The town where Eddie grew up, and where Nat died)
Houston (A place where Darlene could live away from the life that she had built with her late husband. Also, the city is where her sister lives)
Florida (One of the many hypothesized locations of Delicious Foods)
Space (A place where optimistic and high people alike find fascinating, where endless possibilities of freedom and escape lie)
St. Cloud Minnesota (Where Eddie finds his aunt after he leaves Delicious Foods)
Mount Hope Grocery Store (The store that Nat had ran before dying in a fire at this establishment, and it contributed to Darlene's grief when she was in Ovis)
Matching characters to lines that they would say:
This is undeniably a great concept. The puzzles themselves were sort of fun, though I did run into the problem of that I have never read this book. Perhaps focusing on the grander thematic messages of this would have made it slightly easier, though this only applies to the matching game. The crossword was much more enjoyable, though it did still require a lot of detective work, but I did actually get one or two of the answers right. Though having the characters in it did make it a bit of a challenge, calling them things like, "the physical embodiment of drugs" is a very clear way to explain the text, and even provide a bit of context before reading the book. If I were IGN, i would rate the cross word 7/10 and the matching 3/10. For context, Star Wars Battlefront II got 6.5/10. You're doing good.
